Sherry Lynn Carter, 72, of Duffield, VA, departed this life on Sunday, February 15, 2026 at her residence.
She was a bus driver for MEOC during her working career.
Sherry was preceded in death by her partner, Eddie Hammond; her parents, Ezra Milford Carter and Virginia Kate Carter; brother, Billy Milford Carter.
Surviving are nieces and nephews along with her sisters-in-law, Phyllis Howington and Teresa France.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, February 19, 2026 at Holston View Cemetery where family and friends are welcome to gather at 10:50 am for the graveside service.
