Randall "Randy" Scott Edwards

Randall “Randy” Scott Edwards, 62, of Gate City, VA, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, in Kingsport, TN after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on May 21, 1964, in Kingsport, TN.

Randy will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He was dedicated employee at Komatsu (Joy) in Duffield, VA, for several years.

Above all, Randy’s life was centered on the people he loved. He is survived by his wife, Angela C. Edwards, and by his mother, Barbara (Quillen) Edwards. He also leaves behind his children, Kayla Casura, Kristen Geiger, and Matt Edwards, along with his grandchildren, Abby, Adelinde, Max, and Maddie. Randy is also survived by his brother, Shannon Edwards, and by his uncle and aunt, Gary and Doris Edwards. Each of them carries forward treasured memories of his love, his presence, and the bond he shared with his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Gray Edwards; his paternal grandparents, Cecil and Nannie Edwards; his maternal grandparents, Kermit and Nina Quillen; and his uncle, Gerald Edwards.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation with the family on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at The Banq - The Tri-Cities Premier Venue, 225 Broad St, Suite 200, Kingsport, TN. A Celebration of Life will follow at 6:00 p.m. with his son Matt Edwards providing the music and Pastor Jeff Deboard officiating.
