Partha Nell Stapleton Kendrick

Partha Nell Stapleton Kendrick, 90 years old, went to be with the Lord March 15, 2026 at the home of her daughter with her family by her side.

She was the daughter of the late Noah and Daphne Kilgore Stapleton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husbands, James M. Addington, Ford McConnell and Fred Kendrick; Sisters, Gaye Blankenbeckler and JoAnn Palmer; Brothers, John Stapleton, Roy Stapleton and Larry Stapleton; Great Grandson, Abraham Howell; Step Son, Maynard McConnell; Step Daughter, Faye Gilreath and husband Billy Gilreath; Step Grandsons, Tim and Jeff Gilreath. 

Nell was a faithful member of Copper Creek Primitive Baptist Church (Addington Frame). She also attended Alley Valley Church. She loved her church family deeply.

Nell was also a proud 25 year member of Falling Creek Chapter #188, Order of the Eastern Star.  She held many different offices and loved the friendships and fellowships of the order.

Surviving are her Daughter, Anita Howell (Danny); Grandsons, Jason Howell (Christie), and Richard Howell (Jessie): Great Grandchildren, Cheyanne Young, Sierra Taylor (Braxton), Dakota Howell (Charitie), Charity Lewis (Tyler) and Kayle Estep (Donavan); Great Great Grandchildren, Hurley and Stella Beth Young, Elena and Myles Taylor, Jacquline Howell, Axton Lewis and 2 more on the way; Sisters, Marie Addington, Flo Minton, and Carol Culbertson; Sister-in-law, Shirley Kendrick and June Monroe; Step Daughter, Carol Odle; several special nieces, nephews, step grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved dearly.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 pm Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at Copper Creek Primitive Baptist Church (Addington Frame), 2238 Addington Frame Rd, Nickelsville, VA.  Services will follow at 3:00 pm with Elder Harmon Willis and Elder Larry Miller officiating. 

Interment will be in the Hugh Jack Addington Family Cemetery on Saddlebred Dr, Nickelsville, VA.

Pallbearers will be her Grandsons.
