Madeline Marie Huff

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Madeline Marie Huff, 87, of Duffield, Virginia, who entered into eternal rest peacefully at her home, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family.

Born in 1939 in Winterville, Maine, Madeline lived a life filled with devotion, strength, and joy. She was an incredibly loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished member of both her biological and adopted family.

To know her was to love her, and she had a beautiful way of making others feel like family, whether by blood or by bond.

Madeline was a true free spirit with a spectacular personality and a wonderful sense of humor.

She had a way of lighting up every room she entered and brought laughter and warmth to those fortunate enough to know her.

She was the light of our lives.
She was deeply loved and adored by her family — near and far, by blood and by choice — and she will be greatly missed and forever remembered in our hearts.

A private memorial will be held for the family on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
