Lisa Carol Wright

Lisa Carol Wright, age 56, of Mendota, Virginia, passed away on January 15, 2026, at Johnson City Medical Center.

Lisa was born on September 1, 1969, to the late Betty June Addington and Joseph Earl Addington. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ed Wright; her brothers, Archie Eugene Addington and Bobby Earl Addington.

She is survived by her sister, Michelle Poteet, brothers Michael and Brian Addington ; her children, Brant Mitchell and Ashley Rhyne; and her cherished grandchildren, Kaydence, Stevie, Braylynn, and Sariah. Lisa also leaves behind her fiancé, Brian Salmons, and her much-loved pets, Baby and Autumn.

Lisa had a deep love for music and proudly played bass guitar in the band Texas Spurs. She also found great joy outdoors, especially tending to her garden. Those who knew her will remember her for her passion, her love for family, and the warmth she brought into the lives of those around her.

Memorial service details will be announced at a later time.
