Lesa Castle

Lesa Castle, 65, of Gate City, VA, passed peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, September 6, 2026.

Lesa loved cooking, taking road trips, and especially spending an evening playing bingo. She enjoyed the simple things in life—good food, a good game of cards, an adventure with people she loved, and time spent with family and friends. Above all, one of her greatest joys was being “Mimi” to her grandsons, Mason, Landon, and Levi. She loved them dearly and was so proud to be their Mimi.

Lesa is survived by her son, Nick Castle of Bristol, TN; her daughter, Amber Reynolds (Michael), and grandsons, Mason, Landon, and Levi, of Gate City; her sister, Janet Curtis (Wes), and nieces, Kelsey and Kallie; and her brother, Michael (Martha), and children, Abigail and Will. She is also survived by many special friends and family members, as well as her beloved Putt-Putt family.

The family will receive friends and family at Nottingham Church, 2616 Nottingham Rd, Gate City, VA on Thursday, September 10, 2026 from 6:00–8:00 p.m. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Fischer Funeral Services, PO Box 42, Hiltons, VA 24258 to help with final expenses.
