Jimmie Lee Akers, II, 59, entered into rest on Monday, March 16, 2026 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer.
Lee was born in Kingsport, TN on November 28, 1966, a son of the late Jimmie Lee Akers and Carol Akers.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Harvey and Callie Christian; his paternal grandparents, Kyle and Ona Akers.
Surviving are his wife, Suzanne Richardson Akers; daughter, Emily Akers; son, Nicholas Akers; his mother, Carol Akers.
The family will have a private graveside service at the Akers Family Cemetery.
