Doris "Grandmoi" Johnson, 87, of Ft. Blackmore, VA, entered into rest with her Lord on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Ft. Blackmore, VA on July 30, 1938, a daughter of the late Clyde Henry Presley, Sr and Genevieve Evelyn (Day) Presley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, BJ Johnson; granddaughter, Heather Estep; sister, June Presley; brother, William Paul Presley, Sr.; nephews, William Paul Presley, Jr. and Abraham Price; son-in-law, Mike Hass.
Doris was a member of Pendleton's Freewill Baptist Church her entire life. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and will be deeply missed.
Surviving are her children, Sharon Hass, Greg (Trixie) Johnson, Janet (Clifford) Estep, William (Angie) Johnson and Genevieve (Barry) Kenny; honorary son, Chris Presley; her beloved grandchildren, Celesa (Jonathan) Broadwater, Tyler (Miranda) Estep, Lex (Amber) Johnson, Alex Johnson, Amelia Steltzer, Carter (Glen) McGowen, Eli Kenny, Sophia Kenny, Jason Burton, and Brett (Monica) Salling; her precious great-grandchildren, Nora, Clay, Cori, Tatum, Meekah, Walker, Layne, Jeremiah, Will, Evie, Layla, Violet, Kingston, Forest and Scarlet; sisters, Joan Austin, Charlotte (Denny) Price and Bronya (Eric) Rhymer; brothers, Stan (Lakie) Presley, Doug (Tommie) Presley and CH (Jane) Presley; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Presley; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 6 pm Sunday, November 30, 2025 at Pendleton's Freewill Baptist Church, 7591 Rye Cove Memorial Rd, Ft. Blackmore, VA and anytime at the residence. Services will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, December 1, 2025 in the church sanctuary with Pastor Kevin Sanders officiating. Music will be provided by Pendleton's Freewill Baptist Church Singers.
Interment will follow the services in the Cowden Cemetery above the church.
Pallbearers will be Grandsons and Nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ft. Blackmore Center of Excellence, 214 Big Stoney Creek Rd, Ft. Blackmore, VA 24250 or to the charity of your choice in her memory.
