Donna Lynn Tipton

Donna Lynn Bledsoe Tipton, 61, Gate City, VA has passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025 at home.

Donna was born in Kingsport, TN on February 1, 1964 to the late H.C. and Lois Ann Frazier Bledsoe.  She graduated from Sullivan Central High School and retired from Eastman Chemical Company.  In addition to her parents, her brothers, Virgil Bledsoe and Hayes Clyde Bledsoe Junior; as well as her sister, Dorothy Hensley and brother-in-law, Albert Hensley preceded her is death.

She is survived by her only daughter, Rebecca Laney, Gate City, VA; her sister, Dorinda Rhoton (husband Bill), Church Hill, TN; brother, Randall Bledsoe (wife Emma), Kingsport, TN; sister-in-law, Joyce Bledsoe, Hiltons, VA. She also had nieces and nephews.

Donna loved crocheting and loved doing crafts.  She also loved who she affectionately called her "grandpuppy" Bengie.  Donna wished to be cremated.  

The family will be having a celebration of life at Calvary Lighthouse Baptist Church, 655 Way Cross Rd., Church Hill, TN on Thursday, January 15, 2026 from 4 to 6 pm.
