Bobby Marion Egan

Bobby Marion Egan, 73, Kingsport, TN, entered into rest on Monday, January 5, 2026 at Holston Valley Medical Center.

Bobby was born in Scott County, VA on March 2, 1952, a son of the late Charlie Marion Egan and Sarah Jane (Darnell) Egan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Shelton and a brother, David Egan. He worked at JP Stevens for 25 years in the maintenance division.

Surviving are his daughter, Dawn Benton and husband James; son, Jason Egan and wife Ashley; grandchildren, Holly, Bentley and Anthony Carter, Joshua, Brynnen, Iris and Sarah Egan; great-grandchildren, Ayden Bentley, Macie Carter, McKinley Carter and River Carter; sisters, May Necessary, Carrie Head, and Debbie Gillenwater and husband Don; brothers, James Egan and wife Shirley, his twin, Billy Egan and wife Betty and Roy Egan; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
