Alanna G. Ferrell

Alanna G. Ferrell, 71, of Kingsport, TN, entered into rest on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at Holston Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.

She was born in Kingsport, TN on July 11, 1954. Alanna was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church in Kingsport. She was retired from Holston Defense.

Alanna was preceded in death by her parents, Odell Clay Frost and Elsie (Castle) Dean; sister, Gilda Fields; brother, Shawn Frost; life partner, Bruce Vincent.

Surviving are her sons, Kevin Lee Ferrell and wife Ashley Brooke Ferrell, Jonathan Chadwick Ferrell and fiancé Kim Halley; grandchildren, Ariana Brooke Carter, Caylob Byrns and fiancé Emily Parker, Keegan Renae Williams and Cole Barnes, Jennifer Shea Jones, Jonathan Cannon Ferrell and wife Kayla, and Jacoby Caine Ferrell; great-grandchildren, Harper Elizabeth Byrns, Jaxson Seth Byrns and Westin Barnes; sister, Scarlot Frost; longtime friend, Carolyn Troxwell; several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all her caregivers from Church Hill Post-Acute and Rehabilitation Center, Holston Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Holston Valley Medical Center and Select Specialty Hospital for all their love and care shown to Alanna.

A Celebration of Alanna's life will be announced at a later date.
